Psalms 119: 97 to 112
97 Oh, how I love your law! I meditate on it all day long.
98 Your commands make me wiser than my enemies, for they are ever with me.
99 I have more insight than all my teachers, for I meditate on your statutes.
100 I have more understanding than the elders, for I obey your precepts.
101 I have kept my feet from every evil path so that I might obey your word.
102 I have not departed from your laws, for you yourself have taught me.
103 How sweet are your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth!
104 I gain understanding from your precepts; therefore I hate every wrong path.
n Nun 105 Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path.
106 I have taken an oath and confirmed it, that I will follow your righteous laws.
107 I have suffered much; preserve my life, O LORD, according to your word.
108 Accept, O LORD, the willing praise of my mouth, and teach me your laws.
109 Though I constantly take my life in my hands, I will not forget your law.
110 The wicked have set a snare for me, but I have not strayed from your precepts.
111 Your statutes are my heritage forever; they are the joy of my heart.
112 My heart is set on keeping your decrees to the very end

This Sunday Morning service was good. How I love the joy of worshiping God together with other fellow believers worshiping him =)

Over the past few weeks in CG, we have been going through a bible Study about discipleship and currently we are in the topic of loving the Word of God. Its importance, what does it to us, how do we read it, the basics. Its good that we are reminded over and over again about this basics as sometimes we tend to forget the truth of the Word and treat it so routinely, making it no diffferent from the pharisees described by Jesus in the bible.

One thing which brother William Lim shared about during sermon, is a good illustration of a time table chart of how much time we have allocated our time to read the Bible. It was a hillarious slide short but so how true we have to admit this. Often easily it ccan be observed half of us in the congregation might spend more time with facebook than with reading the Word in a day.

As it says in the following verses
102 I have not departed from your laws, for you yourself have taught me.
103 How sweet are your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth!

How beautiful this scripture this is, even as I meditate the whole chapter as a whole, verse 102 brings that "wow" factor in me. "I have not departed from your laws, for you yourself have taught me."

Thank You Jesus for it is really not on my own that I'm discipline in your Word but it is you who taught me through my friends, through the holy spirit, leaders, teachers and your Word itself. Truely, your Word is like honey to me.

I wish I could write more about this beautiful truth in psalms 119 : 97 to 112 but I shall want to meditate on it more and allow it to grow deep within my Heart. Lord I surrender my all to you.

Thank You for this beautiful Sunday which I so look forward to everyweek.
